We're delighted that you are interested in joining us for an inspiring day, learning the benefits of home funerals and natural death care, led by Claire Turnham MBE.
Come along to find out your choices, rights and responsibilities when arranging a funeral, with or without a funeral director. Claire will share her personal and professional experiences as a death carer and educator, home funeral guide, family advocate and independent funeral celebrant. This day comes highly recommended. Suitable for celebrants, death practitioners, doulas, community leaders, carers and whānau. Places are limited to 10 participants, booking essential.
After the workshop ends at 4pm, there is the invitation to stay in the peaceful surrounds of Te Whenua Retreat, enjoy a relaxed, delicious 2-course dinner, and have the opportunity for more meaningful conversation and connections with Claire and the other particpants. The addtional cost for the evening session + dinner is $50 per person, and will end approx 8pm.
