An Evening of Celtic Music with Kate Targett-Adams

We are incredibly excited that Kate Targett-Adams is offering a private performance for limited guests at Te Whenua Retreat.

The evening will begin with a festive 2-course plant-based supper, followed by an intimate fire-side performance which will be a blend of her pure voice with the smaller Celtic harp. Kate will be showcasing songs not only from her own Celtic homeland of Scotland, but also from many other different world cultures and musical genres.

Kate says; "Although I have sung for audiences of up to 16,000 in China, my favourite stage is a more cosy and intimate one, where audience and artist can interact together and establish a more personal connection. I am so delighted to be performing for the first time in the beautiful setting of Te Whenua."

After many years based in Hong Kong, where Kate serenaded many dignitaries and performed at the Beijing Olympics, post pandemic she moved with her Kiwi husband to Lake Hayes in March 2020 and she has been a regular retreat guest here.
