Introduction to Insight Dialogue - evening class

Insight Dialogue is an inter-personal meditation practice that develops the same qualities that silent meditation can enhance - eg calm, concentration, wisdom - and brings these qualities to our relationships and conversations with others. I have been an Insight Dialogue practitioner for about 20 months and I love everthing about this heart opening, friendship building, truth finding practise. 

Insight Dialogue has developed in modern times from within the Theravada Buddhist tradition, as a companion practice to Insight Meditation. It is of profound value to anyone, of any spiritual faith or none. It has the potential to enhance and deepen ALL our conversations and, as a spiritual practise, it has unique ability to open new avenues of insight on an individual and group level. 

For this evening class, Canadian teacher Dave Leggatt has kindly offered to guide us in an introduction to this simple yet powerful practise which has been gaining momentum for the last 10 years and is now a gloabl community of practitioners. COST

We are asking just $25 per person (payable in advance) to cover some associated costs in arranging this evening, and some dana (koha) for Dave who is not asking for any fee for his teaching. Please bring cash to make your koha offering to Dave. 

ABOUT DAVE LEGGATT

Dave Leggatt practiced meditation in the Vipassana tradition for many years. He was introduced to Insight Dialogue in 2011 and joined the Insight Dialogue facilitator program in 2016. Since then Dave has been facilitating and teaching in-person workshops, retreats and online offerings. Aware of the importance of spiritual friendship and the power of Insight Dialogue practiced in daily life, he enjoys expanding the boundaries of practice for himself and others. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
