About the event
This one-day workshop will provide you with time-saving and labour-saving tips & tricks to help you cook well, eat well, and use your time more efficiently when creating meals at home.
It's one thing to set aside a day to prepare a meal for a special occasion, but another to cook healthy and delicious meals week after week, month after month, juggling our time in the kitchen with all the other responsibilities we have in our day-to-day lives. Chefs are also busy people - over the course of 15 years of professional cooking I've learnt how to get my own nutritious meals on the table pretty fast.
During this one day workshop I will share how I've learnt to cook smarter;
- the staples always in my fridge, freezer and pantry (and how to make your fridge, freezer and pantry really work for you)
- how I cook in advance without ever devoting a day to 'prep'
- creatively and consciously using leftovers as my super-power
- utilising seasonal produce across the year without loosing my confidence
This day will offer plenty of time for group discussion, knowledge sharing and questions. Most importantly, there will be time for you to apply the concepts we explore to your own routines and tastes, and create a personalised guide that can help you find your own flow in the kitchen. We will also do some hands-on cooking together to create a wonderful plant-based lunch using the techniques and frameworks I'll be sharing, thereby bringing these concepts to life.
NOTE: You do not have to be following a plant-based diet to benefit - this is about kitchen strategies rather than recipes.
INVESTMENT: $215
