NOURISHED: a heart-to-table cooking retreat, 4-days / 3-nights

Great choice! Our Nourished, plant-based cooking retreats are the heart and soul of Te Whenua, and provide an immersive experience into how rewarding and fulfilling cooking can be. We recognise that many guests are looking for more confidence when it comes to plant-based diets; in terms of recipes & techniques and also regarding nutritional balance - this retreat will support you.

And that's not all - we learn how important our relationship to food (how our nervous system responds) - is.  Whether we are curious or stressed, connected or closed to new ideas, our thoughts and emotions have an affect on the biochemestry within our bodies, and how we physically benefit from our food. What better place to explore this, than on a relaxed and welcoming cooking retreat.

The mornings are spent together in our spacious and calm kitchen, and the afternoons are free-time for rest, local walks, or perhaps we can arrange a private yoga class or massage. End the day, feeling extremely well nourished, perhaps with a hot-tub under the stars.
