NOURISHED:
Plant-Based Cooking Retreats

4-night retreats

For thousands of years humans have enjoyed food as essential nourishment, pleasure and social connection.

How would it amplify your wellbeing to turn your attention to your relationship with food, and rediscover - through tastes, textures, aromas, the physicality of food preparation and the convivial conversations at the dinner table - the magical and mysterious ways that what we eat truly determines who we are? Our deeply held values, our physical vitality, our bonds with other people & our natural environment are all intimately connected to the food we eat.

Today we have unprecedented access to exhaustive nutritional science and this knowledge has enhanced the lives of millions of people. And yet… the happiest, healthiest and longest lived populations all follow the simplest of dietary models - they home cook their meals; they eat seasonal, predominately plant-focused meals; and they dine regularly with friends and family.

Wouldn’t it be priceless to reconnect with this natural affinity we have for cooking & eating, to know how and when to use food as medicine, to preserve the stories behind culinary traditions and cultures (our own and others), and rediscover how sharing food is one of the fundamental roots of all relationships?

Our 'Heart-To-Table' NOURISHED retreats re-awaken us to the joy and vitality of delicious, seasonal, cooking & eating.

These all-inclusive retreats offer a heart-centred and hands-on immersive experience, including guided cooking classes, inspiring korero, and practical information for taking this retreat experience into your everyday lives. Guided sessions are interspersed with valuable downtime for you to relax into the tranquility and natural beauty of Te Whenua Retreat.

Two decades of studying, cooking, experimenting, teaching (and lots of eating!) has culminated in this retreat, my offering to you; crafted to inspire, support and nourish you - heart, belly and soul.
